Careers

The School runs professionally accredited programmes leading to qualifications as a Speech and Language Therapist or Audiologist. Graduates also go into a variety of other professions including educational psychology, clinical psychology and occupational psychology, as well as entering into a wide variety of commercial organisations.

The University's careers service is consistently voted the best in the country by employers and students, and the Guardian league table for university teaching gave the School a top rating due to the excellent job prospects of psychological science graduates.

Resources

Undergraduates have access to excellent resources, including the John Rylands Library, which has the most extensive range of electronic resources of any UK higher education library. There are also dedicated computer clusters for students within the School. Computers are used from the early stages of training and students are encouraged to use them to prepare coursework, communicate with staff and other students and access course information.
