Papers accepted

Ray Wilkinson and Karen Sage from Clinical Neuroscience and Language Disorders (CNLD) had their paper on therapy to improve aphasic conversations has been accepted for publication in 'Aphasiology'. The paper is Wilkinson, R., Bryan, K., Lock, S. & Sage, K. 'Implementing and evaluating aphasia therapy targeted at couples' conversations: A single case study.' Also in CNLD, Audrey Bowen had her paper titled 'VISTA-Rehab: A Resource for Stroke Rehabilitation Trials.' accepted into the International Journal of Stroke.

In Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience (CCN) congratulations to Deborah Talmi whose paper "How humans integrate the prospects of pain and reward during choice." was published in the Journal of Neuroscience (Talmi, D., Dayan, P., Kiebel, S. J., Frith, C. D. and Dolan, R. (2009). 'How humans integrate the prospects of pain and reward during choice.'Journal of Neuroscience. 29(46), 14617-14626.).

Grants

Paul Warren from the CCN research group was awarded a three-year Wellcome Trust project grant entitled: "Estimation of scene-relative object movement by a moving observer: An empirically constrained computational model". The grant will start in March next year.
