“I feel the MRes course opened up the opportunity for jobs in research; it provided me a sound knowledge of research methods in psychology across the board and prepared me for working in the field of research. I now have the confidence and capabilities of conducting more complex analyses that were not covered in my undergraduate course but that are required in the real world of research. Overall, I believe the MRes made me a more desirable applicant when I came to apply for Research Assistant posts; employers were impressed by the standard and scope of knowledge that came from the Masters."
