Within the School of Psychological Sciences, there are divisions that are concerned with specific health-related professions. These are integral to the School and contribute to both teaching and the School’s research groups.

 

Audiology and Deafness

Audiology and deafness at Manchester is the UK leader for applied research in audiology and deafness and has a significant impact upon service delivery in the UK and abroad. This provides an excellent basis for all audiology teaching programmes.

Psychology at Manchester is based in a flourishing centre of research and teaching excellence with close links to colleagues in the fields of Audiology, Clinical Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy.

 

Speech and Language Therapy

Speech and language therapy at Manchester trains professionals through the undergraduate programme and aims to understand and improve the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of communication disorders through research.
