School of Psychological Sciences

What do psychological scientists do?

Psychological scientists are involved in many different kinds of research as they investigate many different questions about how the mind works. Every year as part of National Science and Engineering Week, we run an afternoon of interactive talks that involves scientists from the School of Psychological Sciences talking about their research to school students at year 9 and above.

We asked researchers across the School of Psychological Sciences to tell us about some objects that they use in their research. See if you can correctly match the object (What I Use...) to the kind of research each person carries out (What I Do...) by clicking on one of the descriptions.
