Professor John Bamford awarded Erskine Fellowship

September 2006

Professor John Bamford has been awarded an Erskine Fellowship by the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

John Bamford, Professor of Audiology and Deaf Education in the School of Psychological Sciences, was invited to visit the University of Canterbury in New Zealand as an Erskine Fellow by Professor Michael Robb, Head of the Communication Disorders Department. Professor Bamford will be giving lectures at The University of Canterbury from July to October 2006.

The fellowship was one of 70 funded each year by a bequest from distinguished former Canterbury student Dr John Angus Erskine, which has enabled overseas lecturers to visit each summer since 1963.
