New Professor of Applied Hearing Research

Professor Colette McKay joined the Audiology and Deafness Research Group within the School of Psychological Sciences as Professor of Applied Hearing Research at the beginning of the year.

Colette has worked across a broad range of fields relating to deafness, audiology and communication, and has particular accomplishments in central auditory processing, language development in children and mental health. She will have a significant impact on the direction of hearing-related research in both the School and the research group, her two key focus areas being auditory psychophysical research and improved speech perception with cochlear implants.
